RULES FOR ADMISSION

  • Registration for Kindergarten (LKG) will be done in the first week of February and interview will be held in the month of March every year.
  • After the completion of Kindergarten children will be admitted into Class I before the closure of each academic year. Child not less than five and half years at the beginning of the academic year is admitted into first standard.
  • Caste certificate obtained from Mandal Revenue Office, should be submitted along with the duly filled admission form while admitting the child in Class I.
  • Selected candidates list will be displayed on the Notice Board. Candidates shall pay the prescribed fee in cash. *Fees once paid will not be refunded.
  • Whatever entered in the Admission Register based on the document submitted by parent will not be altered.
  • A corresponding scale of age is fixed for the subsequent standard.
  • Registration forms for classes I to X can be secured on payment of Rs.100/- from the first week of April.
  • Entrance test will be conducted in the first week of June before the commencement of the academic year. Knowledge in Mathematics. English and first language will be examined.
  • Admissions will be made strictly on merit, obtained by the candidate in the entrance test.
  • Pupils selected for various classes must be accompained by their parents or guardians who will be resposible to the school authorities for their regularity and discipline.
  • Selected students must produce the admission forms supplied by the school along with Transfer Certificate from the previous school attended, a character/conduct certificate, Birth Certificate, in support of their date of birth and the caste certificate.

GENERAL RULES

Imparting knowledge and instilling discipline for good behavior are the twin goals of our institution. Hence the school expects every student to obey its rules and regulations.

Discipline and Punctuality

All students should be punctual. They are expected to be in the class immediately after the first bell at 08.50 A.M. The school gate will be closed at 08.55 A.M.

Students who come late will not be admitted to class without permission from the Principal. The late comers will be marked absent for half day. Habitual late comers will be sent home.

The full and clean shool uniform must be worn all days. Speaking in English is compulsory for all students.

Running, playing, shouting and whistling inside the school building are never allowed.

The school is not responsible for the personal belongings such as money, ornaments etc.

Any damage to the school property will be fined.

Irregular attendance, unsatisfactory performance in studies, disobedience to teacher, stealing, writing, scribbling on the walls, malpractice in examination, misbehaviour will necessitate dismissal of a student from school.

Students are not allowed to chew or consume eatables during class hours.

The school discourages private tuitions. His/her assignments are to be done regularly, carefully and submitted in time.

Attendance

The student must attend the school daily, parents should not request that their children sould leave before the school time.

No leave of absence will be granted except for serious reasons. The absentees will not be admitted to the class unless an application for leave is entered in the diary and parent should show it to the respective class teacher after principal’s Signature.

No half a day leave is granted. If a student is absent for 15 days without any permission, his or her name will be struck off from the rolls without any warning.

Use of English

The Student must communicate in English all times except in language classes in the school premises.

School Fee

Tuition fee is charged for ten months (irrespective of vacatio or absence). The fees should be paid term wise in 2 terms or at a time for full year. However, all dues should be cleared before term exams.

The school fee amount is fixed by the management and is subjected to periodic revision.

Students will be allowed to write for any of the Tests of Examinations until all fee dues to the school are paid up to date. In case of genuine difficulty, a written request for the delay must be submitted by the parents before time. Habitual delay in payment may cause the student be sent home at their own risk.

Examination and Promotion
  • Unit or Assignment Tests and Terminal examination are compulsory for all. If a student is absent for a test or examination he or she will be awarded zero. A re-test or examination will not be conducted except when a student is required to represent the school in outside competitions.
  • There will be four Formative and two Summative Assessments in a year.
  • A student who copies in the test or examination will be liable to expulsion from the school. Results are declared at the end of the year. No reconsideration of the case of the student who has been detained in the class - may have to leave the school.
  • Grades are awarded depending on the percentage of marks secured in the test or examination.
  • Progress reports are issued at the end of each unit test and terminal examination. Parents are requested to go through the progress in each subject. Every student must have a minimum of 35% marks in all subjects and 90% attendance.
  • The decision of principal in regard to promotion is final.
